Friday, April 15, 2016

Panama’s municipality followed in the footsteps of successive governments and awarded the near $100 million contract for installing sidewalks leading to Plaza Cinco de Mayo in Panama City to scandal ridden Norberto Odebrecht SA., already the recipient of over $2 billion of awards, some of them clouded with corruption allegations.
Odebrecht’s former president is serving a near 20 year jail term in Brazil after heading a company alleged to have paid off governments around the world to obtain contracts.
