Panama commercial banks in $210 million merger

After several months of talks, Banco Aliado acquired 100 percent of the capital of Banco Panamá for $210 million.
Both banks are commercial institutions and both are Panamanian. Banco Panama¡a now becomes the fourth leading Panamá owned bank, with $4 billion in assets, reports Forbes.
