Panama construction industry invests $4.8 billion

The state and private sectors of the construction industry in Panama will invest some $4.8 billion this year, the industry chamber reports.
Investment in 2009 was $2.76 billion, followed by $4.5 billion in 2010.
Several factors contributed to the growth: the nation’s economic growth, the purchasing power of buyers and the financial facilities offered by the banks.
