Panama consumed 90 percent of its energy in 2013

Panama used 90 percent of the total energy it produced last year.

The largest consumer of energy during 2013 was the commercial sector.

Most of the energy, 4.9 million kilowatts, was produced by the country's hydroelectric plants.
