Panama-Costa Rica bridge to cost more than $17 million

The bridge that will unite Costa Rica and Panama will be financed by a $10 million donation from the Mesoamerican Infrastructure Fund. In addition, the governments of the two countries will share an additional $7.5 million for the project.

The bridge has been proposed for more than a decade. It will cross the Sixaola river that marks the border between Panama and Costa Rica.
