Panama economy grows by 9.9 percent through April. Inflation at 3.9 percent and jobs grow by 1 percent

Economic growth in Panama grew by 9.9 percent through April, according to the Finance ministry.\

Employment grew by 1 percent over the period and inflation surged by 3.9 percent.\
\
Both the wholesale and retail sectors grew rapidly as a result of the increase in trade by the Colón Free Trade Zone and growing demand from other Latin American countries.\
