Panama expected to invite bids for two mega-ports required after Canal completion

The Panamanian government will soon call for an international tender for the construction and management of two new mega-ports.

The two new facilities will complement the port areas needed after the expansion of the Panama Canal in 2014.

The Panama Canal Authority, the Panama Maritime Authority and the Ministry of Economy and Finance will be studying the two projects.
