Panama faces severe shortage of skilled employees

Panama is is having a 47 percent difficulty in filling job vacancies, as shown by the seventh edition of the 2012 Talent Shortage poll, published by ManpowerGroup.

The main problem is finding qualified people for the jobs, and the result of the poll places Panama at number nine out of 41 countries where employers have similar problems.

Some of the most difficult positions to fill for Panamanian employers are secretaries, technicians, engineers, production operators and labourers.
