Panama has more executive women

The percentage of women in senior management positions in Panama is among the highest in the world, according to the "Women in management" report published this month by the International Labor Organization.

Panamanian women make up 47% of the executive workforce, ranking fifth in the world and second in Latin America behind Colombia.

Guatemala is second in Central America, while Costa Rica is last.

Honduras was not included in the analysis.

Jamaica tops the ranking of 108 nations studied as the most equitable, while Yemen ranks last (figures in parentheses indicate the global position of each country.
