Panama imports 35 percent from Central America

Central America and the Caribbean region are the main suppliers of goods to Panama.
In the first half of this year, Panama's imports from the region reached $6.4 billion, 8 percent more than the $5.9 billion in the same period last year.
The figures mean Central America and the Caribbean account for 35 percent of Panama's total imports.
