Panama’s economy is expected to attract $3 billion of foreign direct investment this year, according to the government.
Last year, foreign investment came to $2.35 billion, while in the first half of this year it came to $1.42 billion.
Domingo Latorraca, a consultant, says that Panama is the most attractive country for foreign investment in the region, thanks to its physical and economic size.
