Panama is king of growth, but the crown seems a bit tarnished

It came as no surprise. Panama’s economy is going to lead Central America in terms of growth in 2017, as it has done for several years, the World Bank has confirmed.
But it is worthy of note that the bank has slashed its 2017 growth estimate by 0.7 percentage points.
