Panama is Latin American leader in globalization

Panama is the Latin American country most closely linked to global business, according to the eighth edition of the Latin Globalization Index, published by Latin Business Chronicle.

Nicaragua, Honduras and Chile follow Panama in thet order, although Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela are at the bottom of the list.

The Index takes into account six factors, including international trade, foreign investment, remittances, tourism and Internet connectivity.
