Panama is not a tax haven, says Minister

Panama is not a tax haven and has laws and other measures to solve disputes, said the country's Finance Minister Dulcidio de la Guardia.

His comments came after Colombia said it would add Panama to a list of tax havens if the Central American country refuses to sign a fiscal information sharing agreement.

But Panama said that if it is included in the list, it would take the case to the World Trade Organization.
