Panama issues more than 20,000 work permits

In 2015, authorities in Panama approved 20,369 work permits, the vast majority in favor of Colombians and Venezuelans, who accounted for about half of that total.

Experts say that the infusion of foreign labor will improve competitiveness and innovation in the labor market.
