Panama maintains hot pace of double-digit growth

The economy of Panama grew 10.4 percent in November last year, compared to the same month in 2011.
The economy was boosted by projects such as the $5.3-billion Canal expansion and the $1.25-billion metro system in the capital city.
Other sectors that reported growth were tourism, food and alcoholic drink manufacturing and mining.
