Panama minister to attend Taiwan trade symposium

José Pacheco, deputy minister of foreign trade of Panama, is scheduled to attend an investment symposium in Taiwan in late November to promote the expansion of bilateral trade and economic.
A symposium introducing investments in Panama will be held in Taipei on November 26 and Pacheco will present information on the investment environment in Panama, said Taipei-based Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association.
The Central American nation is a key player in the region. The country registered a 10.6 percent economic growth in 2011.
