Panama moves China-based students

Panama’s Minister of Health, Rosario Turner, met with representatives of the Panama Pacific economic area to discuss the government decision to accommodate the young Panamanians who had been studying in China, where coronavirus broke out.

“The National Government made the decision to accommodate young people temporarily at the base of the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc), the Ministry said. The students had been lodged in a school in Pacora but were moved after resident protests, Newsroom Panama reports.
