Panama nears solution to nationwide strike

The government of Panama and construction union leaders are nearing a resolution to the nationwide construction workers' strike that began on April 24.
"We are close to an agreement and we hope we can find a solution today," Panamanian caretaker Labor Minister Reynaldo Medina.
The country's construction chamber said that the government's proposal to their requests are reasonable, realistic and fair.
