Panama offers double advantage as magnet for headquarters of transnationals

In recent years, Panama has become a magnet for headquarters of multinational companies as a result of its advantages in logistics and financial services.

 

The country currently has 40 headquarters of multinationals. This year alone, nine arrived from January through July, three more than in the same period a year earlier.

 

Though other countries offer similar services, neither has the ports on the Pacific and Atlantic, as well as the trans-isthmus railroad, not to mention the expansion of the Canal.
