Panama opens Shanghai office for farm exports

Panama opened in Shanghai its second overseas office to promote and manage farm exports, the ministers for Commerce and Agriculture announced. The first such office was opened three months ago in Rotterdam.

The new offices will establish an inter-continental trade bridge for Panama, Rotterdam is the gateway to Europe and Shanghai is an axis for trade in Asia.

From November 19 though 23, the fourth round of talks on a free trade agreement between Panama and China is to be held in Panama City.
