Panama protests in Colón free trade zone to continue

The protests in the province of Colon, Panama, which have already killed three people, are likely to continue through next week.

Several trade unions and civil groups have announced they will take part next week in the protests against a law that would allow the government to sell land in the free trade zone of Colón.

Amnesty International urged the Panamanian authorities to thoroughly investigate the deaths of the three people who were killed during clashes with police.
