Panama requests $743 million security budget

Panama’s Ministry of Public Security has requested a 2018 budget just over $743 million.

The majority of the budget would be for internal security activities, but approximately $46 million will be destined for infrastructure upgrades, including for ports employed by the Naval Air Service and the Border Patrol.
