Panama retail chain El Machetazo invests $15 million amid plans to diversify

El Machetazo, a supermarket and department store chain in Panama, is investing $15 million this year.
The plan not only includes renovations to existing premises, but store openings and a new business unit, a pharmacy chain.
El Machetzo also intends to open restaurants under the Miami-based Pollo Tropical franchise.
