Panama rules against concession for Slim’s Ideal

Panama’s Supreme Court overruled a 2006 resolution of the Public Services Authority that withdrew a hydroelectric concession from Julio César Lisac.

The following year, the concession was awarded to Ideal, a company controlled by Mexico’s Carlos Slim, reported to be the world’s wealthiest tycoon.

But four years later, the court finally decided in favor of Lisac, and against Carlos Slim.
