Panama's 2013 budget to be highest in a decade

Panama's budget for next year will be the highest in 10 years.

The government estimates it at $16.2 billion, of which $7.5 billion is for operational requirements and $6.9 billion for investment.

The budget will represent an increase of 13 percent compared with the current year's.
