Panama’s banks advance $17 billion of new lending

Most business segments in Panama’s banks showed double-digit growth last year.
The year showed reactivation in credit, a solid domestic and foreign credit portfolio, and sound indices of liquidity.
The banks lent $17 billion in new lending, a 13.9 percent increase on the previous year.
