Panama’s beer industry shows 2.3 percent growth on basis of big investments

Panama’s beer industry reported 2.3 percent growth in production olast year compared with 2009.
Output has been boosted by multi-million dollar investments by the nation’s two brewers. Cervecería nacional alone invested $5.3 million to increase capacity and launch Miller Lite.
Cervecería Barú Panamá has invested More than $15 million to double production to meet surging demand.
