Panama’s boom in malls builds its head of steam

Tuesday, June 22, 2010

The boom in malls and other retail centers shows no signs of letting off in Panama.

Since the decade of the 1990s, malls have grown by leaps and bounds in Panama. Not only in the capital, but in the provinces too.

Malls have emerged in such areas as Chiriquí, Azuero, San Miguelito and Panamá Oeste (Arraiján), where investment has been more than $120 million.
