Panama’s Colón Free Zone moves $4.7 billion

Panama’s Colón Free Zone achieved year-on-year growth in the first seven months of the year, boosting trade to $4.7 billion.

The total volume of transactions through July came to $15.9 billion, up from $11.2 billion a year earlier.

The positive results were supported by a 35.7 percent growth in re-exports.
