Panama's Copa Holdings reports fourth-quarter net income up by 11 percent

Panama's largest airline, Copa Holdings, said its fourth-quarter net profit rose 11 percent to $104.4 million from $94.4 million in the year earlier quarter.

For the full year, net income rose 29 percent to $310.4 million.

Copa's passenger traffic rose 16 percent in the fourth quarter, fueled by a "robust" 21 percent rise in international traffic, it said.
