Panama's economy takes on a new look

The economy of Panama has revamped its image in a very short period of time, said Frank de Lima, the Finance and Economy minister.
Back in 2009, the economy relied on four main sectors: finance, transport, trade and the Colon free trade zone, which made up 75 percent of the economy. Now, they represent 50 percent, said de Lima.
The country's economy is also more balanced, as no sector accounts for more than 10 percent of the total, de Lima added.
