Panama's elderly population on the upswing

Panama’s elderly population is expected to continue to rise until it reaches 24 percent of the total population in 2050 says a report from the country’s comptroller.

The document suggests the creation of institutions dedicated to the care of this population as well as the implementation and development of activities that promote their protection.
