Panama's farming sector is in decline
Friday, January 3, 2014

Panama's farming sector contributed only 1 percent to the country's economy between January and September last year.
From January to October, the sector generated $21 million, some $4 million less than for the same period a year before, according to official data.
Growing imports, less credit and tourism development are among the reasons behind the sector's decline.
