Panama's first quarter exports drop 3.4 percent

Panama's exports dropped 3.4 percent in the first quarter this year, compared to the same period in 2013.

Agricultural products were the lowest performers, with coffee and melon sales dropping 63 percent each.

Gold also reported a strong drop, as exports reached $1.1 million in the period, compared with $31 million in the first quarter of 2013.
