Panama’s Golden Tower challenges the market

Colombian group Talarame has opened its Las Americas Golden Tower hotel in Panama, where occupancy rates have slumped to 50 percent.

Investment in the hotel was $70 million. It architect was the Uruguayan Carlos Ott, who designed the legendary Bur Al-Arab in Dubai.
