Panama’s government rakes in $814 million in Canal revenues for fiscal 2010
The Panama Canal Authority transferred to the government $814 million, $60 million than the budget forecast for 2010.
The financial accounts for the 2010 fiscal year (October 2009 to September of 2010) were recently approved.
The $5.25 billion expansion of the Canal was launched in 2007 and is due to be concluded in 2014.
