Panama’s income from tourism to close year with $170 million increase

Panama earned $170 million more this year through October than in the same period of 2009.
This year, tourism earnings for the first 10 months of the year come to $1.37 billion, a 14.2 percent year-on-year increase.
Some 1.4 million tourists visited Panama from January through October.
