Panama's insurance sector grows 10 percent

Sales of insurance and reinsurance policies in Panama reached $545 million from January to May this year.

The figure shows a 10 percent growth during the period, the country's insurance authority said.

Insurance policies against theft grew 82 percent, the strongest performer in the sector.
