Panama’s Metro Bus system stumbles on way to being fully functional

Panama’s Metro Bus system, like city traffic is moving at a stop and go pace towards becoming operational and fully functional. The rains in Panama and Colombia delayed the shipping of the buses that had been scheduled to start  running on December 18.

The first service on the Corridor Sur is now predicted for December 28, in time for the new year when the first120 buses will be put into service. The prepaid card system, held up by snafus in the bidding process will follow later.
