Panama's Nacional de Seguros enters Colombia

Panamanian insurance firm Nacional de Seguros announced the consolidation of its operations in Colombia.

The company entered Colombia through the acquisition of 98.8 percent of Eco Seguros's shares, which also included the transfer of 34,500 policies.

Among the policies the Panamanian firm acquired are for large projects such as Drummond's mining contract and highway infrastructure contracts.
