Panama's tourism arrivals exceed forecasts

Panama received 2.27 million tourists throughout 2013, exceeding the country's tourism authority's, ATP, goal forecast of 2.25 million.

This year, the authority has forecast 2.3 million toursts, ATP administrator Salomón Shamah said.

The highest number of tourists, more than 318,000, arrived in December.
