Thursday, October 31, 2013

The government of Panama is aiming to sign a free trade accord with Mexico by the end of the year.

The third round of talks towards the agreement are scheduled for November 12 to 15, according to Panama's Ministry for Economy.

The accord would also take Panama a step further in becoming a member of the Pacific Alliance, the trade bloc currently made up of Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru.
