Panama seeks to create 300,000 jobs

The Government of Panama is seeking to create 300,000 jobs over the next decade through a program recommended by the International Labour Organization.

The program seeks to find which areas of the country's economy need more workers in order to tackle the rising demand for jobs, said Labour Minister Luis Ernesto Carles.

The aim is to create 30,000 jobs each year, in order to reach 300,000 in 10 years, Carles added.
