Panama seeks to improve fiscal standards

Panama will take part in a conference on double tax treaties organized by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, OECD, to be held in Paris later this week.

The aim of the event is for Panama to adopt all necessary measures in order to prevent money laundering and improving tax collection.

Panama was included this year in the Financial Action Task Force's grey list of countries that fail to meet transparency and information sharing standards.
