Panama sends $123 million remittances in six months

Panama has increasingly generated remittances from immigrants from other countries in recent years.
In the first six months of this year, Panama sent $123 million in remittances, an increase of $12 million on the same period of last year.
The countries to which the remittances are mainly sent are Colombia ($43 million), United States ($14 million), China ($12 million) and Nicaragua ($6 million).
