Panama to become region's diamond dealer
Latin America's first diamond trading centre will be inaugurated in Panama in March this year.
The Panama Gem & Jewelry Center will make the Central American country the region's precious gems trader.
The construction of the project, which cost $200 million, will be in two parts, one for the trading floor and bourse offices, and the second will house the Panama Diamond Exchange, a jewelry mall and offices for industry-related companies.
