Panama to celebrate this month as this year's visitor number two million arrives

Panama will hold a special ceremony this month to celebrate the arrival of the record number of two million visitors for the year.

Salomón Shamah, manager of the Panama Tourism Authority said that the industry's success has been due to promotional campaigns and the expansion of airports.

Shamah reckons that the next target for the industry will be the construction of a new international convention center.
