Panama to strengthen coffee crops

Panama's Agricultural Investigation Institute is seeking to develop new coffee cultivation methods, after a plague of coffee rust has swept its crops.

The institute proposed to cultivate by using in vitro fertilization.

The project has already been forwarded to the authorities and is waiting for approval, the institute said.
