Panama woos Indian diamond companies

The Panama Diamond Exchange, PDE, in Latin America is wooing Indian diamond companies to buy office space at its first dedicated diamond, coloured gemstone and jewellery trading complex in Panama.

PDE president Erez Akerman is scheduled to visit Mumbai and Surat on July 30, where he will meet with the companies interested in buying office space.

Construction of the first of two buildings of the $200-million project is about 60 percent complete.
